My family, friends and I had such a great time at the reggae soul funk gig today - great music played by the DJs, fantastic food & drink and the owner of the hotel was so lovely! I really loved the garden, lots of seats & tables, sorry our kids were overly excited running round! There aren’t many places in Southend where you can take your family (babies / kids) and enjoy the music, dance, eat & drink. Can’t wait for the next one!

Such a wonderful place and the most friendly staff who will always help and cater for your needs.
Hold great venues for adults and family's and host great garden parties in the summer with live music as well as live music most sunday with a fabulous roast dinner for the whole family.
Jolene and Natalie are friendly and so welcoming you feel like your in your own house... What a total gem in Southend...

A fantastic location for this quintessential seaside resort hotel. Classic decor , full of character and charm. Spotlessly clean with friendly, unfussy staff. Reasonably priced too.

Highly recommended! We have stayed here several nights and it has been great, the room is very comfortable and everything is very clean. It is a quiet place, run by super friendly staff, the attention is definitely excellent, close and professional at the same time. Food was excellent and the weather was so nice that we could also enjoy the lovely garden. It is a few steps from the beach and about a 20-minute walk from Adventure Island and the Pier, a very pleasant walk by the sea side.

This is a gorgeous hotel still in the making. The owners are lovely people and will bend over backwards to help .
The rooms are cosy and very clean, and the location can be bettered.

I didnt stay overnight but had a family meal there for my birthday. We were made really welcome and all of us enjoyed our food Cobham Lodge has a lovely atmosphere and is decorated tastefully. We all look forward to going back in the warmer weather so we can sit outside on the balcony.

Visited for a wedding reception. I was involved in the planning and jolene and her team went out of there way to accommodate
Food was top quality and very good value. Well looked after and everybody had a great evening.
Only minor issue was extremely hot in the venue so this could be looked at as several people commented
I would definitely recommend and another booking will be made off of the back of this visit

The rooms were very loud, not alot of soundproofing, my room stunk of a urine smell, and i cant be 100% sure but i left some money on my bedside cabinet and it was not there when i came back ( cleaner possibly pinched it) , wont be coming again

Paid 60 pound for a room , was told breakfast included but got charged extra 7 pound , also left some things in my room by accident when I left ,called back shortly after and they said they're not there it's not out problem,clearly stolen , pay your cleaner more and they won't need to steal my stuff.
